​AirBoss​

​The AirBoss is a mounted field sprayer, which is unique in its design and user-friendliness. This solution focuses on functionality, quality, economy, and environment, and comes with the patented Eurofoil atomizer. All the functions of AirBoss are fully hydraulic driven. At the same time you have a clear view when driving because the boom is hanging above the tractor. It is easy to clean. Water is heated by the sprayers hydraulic system and therefore allows you to clean with hot water, while in the field.

Advantages

With a danfoil AirBoss, the pilot has an enormous spray capacity. He can cover up to 35 ha per filling, this due to the very low liquid consumption, from 30 – 50 l/ha. The pilot has a capacity equal to a conventional sprayer with a tank size between 4 – and 6.000 liters. Furthermore the sprayer has a significant lower weight and can therefore easily work in wetland areas, which would not be possible with a conventional sprayer with the same capacity. When spraying in high crop like e.g. rape or corn the pilot avoids unnecessary damage of the crop due to the special construction that gives the AirBoss a high clearance, which ensures the pilot optimal conditions for his spraying job.

Automatic cleaning programs

The sprayer is equipped with electric valves that automaticly operates the 3 washing programs. Everything is done simply by pressing an icon on the DSC screen.

Load sensing as standard

The field sprayer is easy to connect and disconnect and requires no use of PTO. All AirBoss field sprayers have Load Sensing, which operates the fan, the pump, and all remote hydraulics, as standard. It is important that the tractor is equipped with LS and is able to deliver 85 liters at 190 bars, at least.

Robust construction

The AirBoss mounted field sprayer is build on a sturdy frame that is mounted to the tractors 3-point hitch. The frame carries tank, pump armature, and boom. The tank contains 1,000 liters. The pump is a 115 l diaphragm pump with three chambers. From the pump, the spray liquid is guided through the filter and flow meter to 7 section valves, which then supplies the Eurofoil atomizers on the boom. The pump and fan is operated by the tractors hydraulic system. The boom is produced of aluminum – therefore easy and stable. As an additional security, the boom is hanging in a pendulum suspension, which is stabilized by the shock absorbers. The position of the boom can be fine tuned using a tilt cylinder. Height adjustment, folding and unfolding of the booms is regulated hydraulically from the control box. During transportation the booms are folded along the tractor, and above the drivers cab.
